System Criteria

The Firestone EPDM Fully Adhered System can be applied on any building where the substrate is compatible with Bonding Adhesive to provide sufficient adhesion. For insulated roofs the ability of the roof deck to provide sufficient pull out resistance for the fastening system should be established.

System Installation

The Rubbergard EPDM sheets are fully adhered directly to the substrate using Firestone Bonding Adhesive. Adjoining sheets are overlapped a minimum of 100 mm and the seams are spliced with Firestone QuickSeam Splice Tape. All flashings around roof perimeters and penetrations are installed in accordance with Firestone specifications (pdf 1.598 kB).
