Firestone Ultraply TPO. The reflective roofing choice.
Ultraply
TPO is a proprietary thermoplastic polyolefin combining polypropylene
and ethylene propylene rubber. The scrim-reinforced membrane combines
the weatherability of rubber with the heat weldability of a thermoplastic
in a highly flexible sheet with excellent layflat characteristics.
Key features and benefits
The success of Firestone Ultraply TPO can be attributed to its
various performance benefits.
-
Environmentally
friendly: Firestone Ultraply TPO membrane is energy efficient.
Its light surface reflects the sunlight, eventually reducing building
cooling costs. Ultraply TPO’s chlorine-free, non-halogenated
formulation and hot-air welded seams further contribute to the
system environmental friendliness.
- Superior durability and longevity: Firestone
Ultraply TPO demonstrates a strong resistance to shrinkage and
embrittlement. It provides excellent weatherability and strong
resistance to UV radiation, ozone and common rooftop chemicals.
- Ease of application: Firestone Ultraply TPO
is available in widths up to 3.05m (10 ft) wide rolls providing
fast, economical coverage. The membrane’s hot-air welded
seams enable it to be installed in most weather conditions.
