Code approvals

Firestone’s Ultraply TPO does meet a variety of building code approvals and classifications, depending upon the specific system or assembly.

Ultraply TPO has attained Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Class A exterior fire classification (over combustible and non-combustible decks), and a B2 rating when tested according to DIN 4102-Part 1.

Ultraply TPO roofing systems are also approved for use in Factory Mutual (FM)
Class I-90 constructions.

Finally, a European Technical Approval (ETA) is in progress.
